Acme, supporting artists since 1972

Future Studios

Acme's commitment to providing high-quality, secure and affordable studio space, inevitably means demand for an Acme studio is very high. In order to meet the demand from artists we currently have three major projects in development which will deliver over 100 high-quality, long-term and affordable studios over the next year. We are happy for artists to express an interest at this stage. These projects include:

Warton House, High Street Stratford, E15

27 studios in a landmark listed building, Warton House, as part of a project developed in partnership with Genesis Housing Association involving 655 residential units and over 13,000 square feet of retail and commercial space. The studios will be available from March 2013

High House Production Park, Purfleet, Essex

43 studios, including four work-live units, as part of a £2m project developed in partnership with High House Production Park and supported by Arts Council England. The studios form part of a growing campus which includes the Royal Opera House Bob and Tamar Manoukian Production Workshop and the National Skills Academy for Creative and Cultural Skills Backstage Centre. Construction of the studios has now begun and the target date for completion is May 2013.

Stockwell Green, SW9

30 new-build studios in partnership with developers Spiritbond in Stockwell. Part of a student accommodation development for University of the Arts London, it will also include ‘transitional studios’ for recent graduates offered at half rent managed in partnership with Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. The target date for completion is October 2013
