Landis & Gyr Stiftung Residency
Michel Mettler, born 1966, worked as a jazz musician during the 1980s before devoting himself to independent theatre as a director, manager, musician and author.
His first novel was published in 2006 by Suhrkamp Verlag, Frankfurt and since then Michel has worked as an author and musician in various contexts, often collaborating with musicians, fellow novelists and visual artists. Michel is the author of Die Spange (The Brace) and Der Blick aus dem Bild - a collection of meditations on paintings.
